 Equal Exchange hit the road for a spring filled with high-energy events across the country. The Seattle and Chicago Green Festivals each had an attendance of over 30,000 people and the WBOS Earth Fest in Boston attracted 100,000. In March, we partnered with Vegetarians of Washington at their Seattle Vegetarian Festival, and in April we joined Cleveland’s Earth Day coalition at the Cleveland Earth Fest celebration. Equal Exchange also unveiled a new video about visiting our coffee trading partners at The Down2Earth Sustainable Living Fair in Boston. The video can be viewed here.
While each event allows us to give out samples of delicious Equal Exchange coffee, tea, chocolate and snacks, we really enjoy sharing stories about the Big Changes we see happening in small farming communities around the globe.
Didn't get a chance to visit us at one of these events? This summer, Equal Exchange will continue its collaboration with the Federation of Massachusetts Farmers' Markets by attending the Copley Square market on Tuesdays. See you there!
